BIOI was born in the 1950's in Tennessee, and have been here ever since. I like the blues, rock and roll, and a little bit of everything else; I also play guitar (badly). I have worked in about every medium there is, but almost stopped all traditional work when I discovered computer art. In 1986 (can't believe it was that long ago), I bought an Amiga 500 (remember them?). I used a paint program called Deluxe Paint and the first 3D program I used was called Silver- upgraded to Turbo Silver (no, really!) and the program eventually became Imagine. I switched over to the IBM PC compatable in 1995, because the capabilities finally eclipsed those of the Amiga. I now use Bryce, Poser and Photoshop Elements. In art, as in music, I like a little of everything, so I usually surf All Galleries. I recommend this to everyone, because if you limit your vision to only Poser gallery, only Bryce, etc., you may find that you are repeating yourself in your art. Shake it up, and render on!

I too had this poster and must say that it is an exact and perfect rendition of the original. At 54 years old I am old enough to actually remember this POSTER. Congratulations and thank you for the return to a time and on a theme that is close and DEAR to my heart. The picture of John almost brings tears to my eyes and though it brings with it the pain of the loss I felt I am swelled with emotion and to have you make a piece that actually reaches my heart and has so profound an effect I give you the highest praise I possibly can. Words don't even come close to the feeling of thankfullness that I feel to you for the chance to view and FEEL such a strong emotion from Artwork. Truly you have captured the very essence of what art was and is meant to be. A communication that goes beyond words without words.. Am I making sense?? I am wearing my tears right this moment it has touched me so strongly. THANK YOU my friend. You are a TRUE artist. I am deeply humbled.

John, Again I agree with genefleeman. I too am of the age to remember that poster, although I never had one! Looking at this image is bittersweet, and it does make me cry. I look at John and I can only think 'Imagine' the talented spirit we lost when this man was killed. I see in this picture of him the thinker, the seeker. The one who tried to touch the heart of the world with truth set to music! The Beatles were wonderful! This is such a superb tribute! Leanndra
