Description

We went to Yosemite National Park yesterday to float the Merced River. It was the most beautiful day, but I really didn't get to take many pictures and the sky was so hazy! But I did manage to capture one of my favorite wildflowers in the Sierras, the Jeffery Shooting Star! Thank you for all the wonderful comments on my last post and have a great day!

I love Yosemite but I have only been to the east side because of road closure from floods. this is the first time I recall ever seeing these beauties. excellent capture-ps. how about the river pics?

It has been 19 years since I was there last. It was with my love. I have wonderful memories of the place. Maybe it is here we go in August, but then I want to get away from people but these flowers are so inviting and I hear them calling us. Have a great weekend Kim.
