Description

The beautiful and mysterious Psyche, whose name means "butterfly" and "soul". So, if the eyes are the windows of the soul, what do you see? This is an older image of mine that I updated with some extra postwork. It is not something I normally do since I like to move forward and spend my energy creating newer and better things. However, I have always liked the pose and the lighting. It was just something about the eyes that never seemed quite right to me. This bothered me greatly considering the whole purpose of the image. ;) So, I decided to fix it and I must say I am quite happy with the way it looks now. I actually finished the extra postwork about a year ago (Goodness! Where did the time go?), but I never got around to uploading it to my gallery. Figured I had better stop procrastinating and get it done! Ok, both versions are very very nice, but I like the updated version more. The eyes are much more incredible and the focus of the viewer is more concentrated on the face since the now darkened background is less distracting. Excellent work!

She is GORGEOUS..I love the darkness of this image....Her eyes are stunning..and the softness of the whole piece just rocks!! Wonderful!!!
