Description
This photo was taken at Fairchild Tropical Gardens in Miami. I can't remember what it is, so if anyone knows, please let me know. It kinda looks like some weird alien, maybe from "Invasion of the Body Snatchers", so don't get too close :o)

It looks like a plant I know as "Sailors Hornpipe" if this is a vine like plant that grows up over fences and in trees and suchas it appers to be. It is also known as "Dutch Hornpipe" in some circles here in Australia.

Beautiful capture Mina. The whole setting is so cool, the way the vine leaves droop sullenly, the warped weird red of the strange blossom ... an otherworldly (or should I say, underworldly) kind of image. You have such a unique eye and vision, Mina. Thank you for sharing your soul through your images ... it is like drinking nectar from the honeysuckle ... a wonderful treat!
