Description

Well, I thought I would try to make a series of planetary observations, from watching space shows - reading National Geographics - viewing other TG artists work and visiting NASA web site. All is pure TG except for resize... Trying to figure out how to make a hazey atmosphere? My acid lake and textured landscape was an attempt to simulate a metallic planet somewhat. For all space lovers, please help me refine the look with positive comments as I develope more, and thank you!

Love the colors and sky, and the terrain is cool.

The sky is the best part here, I think, with good water, too. The texturing is pretty cool and a good experiment.

Love the colours in the sky and looks pretty hazy to me. Water colour is gorgeous - interesting combination. Texs are a challenge! Keep on trying! Great work.

First off, I have to agree about the sky; it's absolutely gorgeous and the lighting on this one is excellent.:) General tips for a hazy sky - reduce 'Density Contrast' and increase 'Density Shift' then try out different sky sizes (try 100k or more)

Hello Fenix :) First time i seen one of your works, and thanks for the comment over a year ago when i first started lol----- anyway, The sky looks great here, really. The hazy atmosphere i sometimes can get great, and sometimes not. I found that turning the haze up to about 50% or more depending on how hazy you want it, and upping the density, works pretty good. Also turn the sun glow and what not up as well as then it will affect the haze more.----Textures are still something i am also struggling with, so i cant help there, but other then the haze issue you had, this is looking pretty good. (now i hope i read your comments right so i am not saying something that isnt even needed :))
