My Mom found this luna moth and wanted me to take a pic of it. So here is a macro missing an antenna.

I notice the missing Antenna but to be honest.......... it adds more interest to this beautiful creature. I just love this one granny..... Your perspective on this one is very perfect... almost giving it an alien look. The antenna of some of these moths are so intricate....and yes, they legs too. fury and all. I captured one in my trip up the Himalayas..... it was not in it's natural surrounding...... it had flown into the Hotel where I stayed. I had to lay flat on the Floor to try and capture it..... I call it the Fighter Plane..... I will post it sometime...:O)) Cheers!!!!!!!!
