Nice comic feel, you've done a great job here!!!

I like Poser-toons, and this is nicely done. I also like the flip-book, which I hadn't seen before. Some things to think about: --you've done a great job laying out the screen like a comic book; but there's actually less real estate on a lot of screens than a two page spread. I'm reading this on a Mac Powerbook (15" screen) which is laid out landscape-- things scan better side to side than top to bottom. -- experiment with some Photoshop techniques to lower detail before applying poster edge. One technique I use is to dupe layer, gaussian blur, and set composite mode to soft light (sometimes I do this twice). Then flatten and apply poster edge. . .there will be less detail, so you'll get a look that's a little less noisy. --plan color blocking carefully. Comic artists are phenoms at color theory. In this page, the girl and the ghoul are both similarly cream colored, which makes it a harder image to "read" Take a look at Alex Kelly or on Rosity, the remarkable Archangel Gabriel. There are lots of cheap or free color theory utilities that will help you pick out colors which "go"

Sort of open-ended here, at least to me! But still i've really enjoyed it - a great interpretation of one of the most classic stories around! A truly beautiful work!

Guys! Thanks so much for following Grimm and the Orpheus Project. You are right GRiMAge, -- it IS open ended. I'll be coming back to it in comic form after a diversion (of another story called Seven Wives), but Orpheus Project is part 1 of five stories - The Janus Legacy, The Artemis Ascendancy, The Tantalus Effect, and The Prosperina Affair. They're being published online by Apex Digest (issue #5, #6, #7, and #9(next month) at http://www.apexdigest.com/online.shtml ) but the Apex Digest version of the comic actually incorporates the Janus Legacy (an extra 12 pages inserted throughout the comic). So there you have it. Thanks again for your regular commenting guys. I appreciate it heaps.

Crocodilian, thanks very much for that fantastic advice. A comment like that is worth more than money, man. It is such a kick just to be taklen seriously.
