HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIC!

Yes, it is Eric's birthday today. He goes by EricSBauer but most of you probably know him as ebsmooth. He recently scrapped his old gallery in favor of a more streamlined and consistently presented one. So far it is looking great! A little birdy told me it was his birthday so I thought to myself, what would make a good image to dedicate to Eric on his birthday? The obvious answer would be some sort of night shot, as Eric's outstanding ones have inspired many of us. This is a photo I had entered in the night photography challenge and while not at the level of his shots, it is my favorite of the few night shots I have taken. So I edited it a bit more and here is the result. Have a good one Eric, and keep inspiring us with your imaginative and beautiful work!

This reminds me of Palms Springs California. They have date farms with as many as 1000's of trees like these lined up and harvested for their dates. They are lit up at night too! Great shot. KP
