BIOI am an IT specialist by profession, but my hobby (besides computers) has always been photography. I have been interested in this since early childhood, starting off with instant cameras and graduating to SLR's and recently a SLR lookalike. My first SLR was a Minolta X300 and then a Minolta Dynax 404i. My first digital was a Fuji S5000 DSLR-like camera, but nowdays I use a Canon EOS 350D with an 18-55 and 75-300 with a Speedlite 420EX (which is very handy for doing weddings). I don't profess to be any good at photography and have no experience with studio work. I do however like outdoors and scenery and have been asked to do a couple of weddings before, which came out well. The best people pictures I take are those where the person does not pose and are caught almost unawares.
I love the outdoors and camping and go fairly regularly and take my mountain bike with. My friends and I go mostly to nature reserves.

Wow, this is a very remarkble shot! At first I thought it was slanting to the right, then I saw the tree and thought it was slanting to the left, but no, it's just perfect! Fantastic work!

Absolutely gorgeous! The thin clouds, the light, the colors - and the silhouetted tree, they all combine to make a stunning picture.

Terrific shot! I love how the tree mimics wind and the clouds are pulling in the other direction.
