Description

BAck to the Ol' ghost town /old cam Here is me looking up .. I didnt seem to mind the nail that had snagged my pants or the other that had gotten my shirt or the glass under my feet as I balanced on one high heeled foot there were a few nasty spiders and other creatures lurking about too.. as well as old broken bottles in the 6' by 6' enclosure I had managed to get my ever curious self into.. with my one bare exposed foot =0O (the one shoe had fallen and was missing) I just smiled and looked up at the blue shy and clouds and took this shot.. and then suddenly, wondered how to get back out... so I had to post this cause I did it all for something!! LOL I just noticed WOW THIS IS MY 99th upload.. I cannot believe tommorrow will be MY 100 UPLOAD!!!!!!! mann have I been here that loong? time doth fly! Thanks for your time and comments.. love ya all hugs

The screams have died down at last.... but someone has been painting with blood red and blue. I like this kind of image, how it can operate in a depth / shadow context or as a straight flat colour composition. Either way it works well!

Once again you got me laughing, not at you mind you, but with you. This reminds me of a fall I took one day at the beach. While climbing up a small hill of lava I lost my balance...I knew I was going to fall, my first instinct was to protect the camera which I succeeded in doing, sacrificing my body in the process. I landed hard on my back and lay there a little dazed and dinged up...but when I looked up I saw the palm trees against the blue sky...I thought "Now there's a pretty picture" and took the picture while still laying there. Every time I see that picture now I remember how I got it, as you will here...Thanks for the laugh...Aloha~

I really like the stories that usually accompany your pictures - you seem to go to a LOT of trouble to get some of your shots. Very nice picture btw!

it's all about getting the shot. editors or viewers don't care what we go through to get the shot - jsut that we get it. I like it.
