At last a worthy use for that gradient! It would benefit from a large render for antialiasing. And that background is very effective.

Psycodelic colors..this looks like it came out of the 60s!:) ...no...I am not old enough to remember that!! ;) Very awesome image D!! Some of the figures look like they could be masks too! Excellent work! VOTE!!
