Description
I made this for someone I'd like to call a friend.
Somehow she always knows just what to say or do to make everything look better when all seems dark and gloomy :-)
Everyone should have an angel like that.

Took me almost 3 days to get it just the way I wanted it, mostly because I didn't have the right hair, so I decided to paint that myself, using Koz Messy hair and Miki hair as a base.
Which is why it took me so long, since I hardly ever paint hair =P

This is your first shot at hair painting? Pretty awesome! I checked the closeup and was amazed at the details. A tough problem when painting hair is getting the shadows right, the lower part of the angel's hair seems too light, and a bit of shadow on the cheek and neck of the human figure would be the finishing touch. The lighting effects are very good, and the setting and background are wonderful. Awesome poses too. Great composition, excellent work!

At first I thought, there's so much detail in the image already that there's nothing to be gained by downloading the 5MB version... but I did anyway, and am I glad I did! One critical detail I missed is that the glow around the angel seems to be an opening to a different world, or at least a happier, cleaner version. I hope the poor lass gets an invitation: Her world looks worse than... I won't name any names, but where I live! :D
