Green is more effective as a vegetative layer not resting on steep slopes. Calm clear water is darn good!

Yes indeed that water is superbe very deep reflection. In real life one may not see as much green on a mountain side (this is where I'll echo Riche2) unless it's populated with trees and certainly not on a slope this steep. On the other hand this is CG not photography. So in my mind it depends what one is shooting for real or maybe something a bit more artistic. It all looks wonderful to me wonderful image ! "V"
