Description

hi guys and girls again somethin, that has nothin' to do with organic modeling. Here I tried to reach some kind of photo-realistic render by using HDRI for reflexions ans radiosity. I know I failed, but I think it's pretty nice. maybe anyone can give me some hints to get better results. modeling and rendering with c4d 8.5xl working time: about 6h render time: 12.5min. @ 1024x600 with DoF and radiosity greetz daniel Oh, I forgot to explain the title of the image. somewhere I heard, that for the women, the toilet is somthing like a temple of beauty... :-)

lol. umm not sure about the temple of beauty for women. :P Well since I'm just beginning c4d, I've only had limited play with the lighting and I find it's very difficult (for me anyways) So I'm thinking you did a really nice job with lighting, reflections and textures. Damn good if you ask me.

Good Work! Try increasing your radiosity settings (min and max settings) Or try using the C4D 'Stochastic' form of radiosity as it is much better looking than the "standard Radiosity", although it takes a lot longer to render, but it's so worth it. Have a look at this C4D image I did using "stochastic radiosity" http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=852443&Start=1&Artist=stiffb&ByArtist=Yes

"I know I failed"... Heheh... "working time: 6h" Heheheheh... Don`t tell me more... I just finish my interior project which took some quarter a year and I would be madly happy to see it at least quarter of your quality...

In my opinion, this work is excellent like it is. Now, if you want to do something more realistic, here my humble hints: 1. Sharpen your image. For example, if you take a photograph, you will distinguish very well the borders of the washing-stand. 2. The yellow towel seems to be a soft plastic. What about adding some nap? Yes, too difficult. I had the same problem... 3. Add some dirt to tiles. The washing-stand seems to be old, while the tiles are perfectly clean... 4. I don't understand how the mirror is hold: it seems that two handles on the bottom are too small. Good luck!

The light in this is truly enchanting. C4D (I have the 9.0) is my beloved 3D modeling app but I would be glad simply to approach by far your talent!
