Description
Browsing through my photo looking for a background for a Star Trek image, and I found this.
Any guesses as to what it is?

I bet you're seeing an airliner. The higher you go the longer the sun stays up or the earlier it gets light.

Not to mention an shiny aircraft might bank and act like a mirror reflecting more sunlight to you.

Most likely Venus

Was it during sunrise, or sunset. Since you were facing East, that would mean if this shot was at sunrise, it is probably Venus. If the time was at sunset, it has to be something else.

Looks like a jet or a helicopter...not sure which from that high up, but I see things just like that all the time, and I live about a mile from the Louisville International Airport. Actually, I had some peaceful fun last night sitting out on my front porch swing and watching two objects that looked just like that. :-D
