Description

Made the sky and liked it, then didn't know where I was going from there. Made the sea and then I came upon an idea. Eureka! Today's fact: Archimedes supposedly said, "Eureka!" when discovering a scientific theory. It is Greek for, "I have found it."

very cool. :) i love the atmosphere, and the composition is perfect. the mood is so sat and stormy, and then you see the light bolb and it gives you hope. btw, there's a small "cut" (i'm not sure how to phrase it) in the right side of the sky, just above and right to the light bolb.. nothing a few smudges wouldn't fix. but other than that - this image is just perfect!

great image again - I can't think of Eureka without thinking of Yreka CA which they call "why-reka". In greek, I guess that means "I have found it - but I don't know why?"

Very cool sky. Even cooler idea for this image. You are correct in your translation of the Greek word. Also, Eureka is the state motto of california going back to the gold rush days.
