Description

From an ongoing series exploring Digital technology and decorative arts. Variation on a theme. Employing the same drawing as my last post but this time using marble textures (instead of wood) to simluate traditional intarsia or Pietre Dure (hard stone) inlay. Printed as a 44" digital, archival quality print. Mounted and laminated to 3/4" MDF. Thanks for looking!

Gorgeous ornate design supported by subtle color scheme, variation in line weight, and sensitive third dimension detail. The marble textures are awesome. This guy knows his stuff, both digital and classic.
