Description

I haven't had much time for participations here in a while, but had the time the other day to take a stroll through Locomouse's brilliant galleries. I came across "Julia's In Love"-(wonderful)-and thought: "..then she will need silk and saffron..."... This is the beginning of an attempt at that provision, and is also a tribute to the creative skills of Locomouse. Thank you all for your viewings, commentaries, and kindnesses. Always a pleasure to view your works. I'm glad to see you're back. It's been a while! Another wonderfully excecuted fractal. In particular the delicate transition of color in the palatte. What I like about your fractals is the harmony of contrast. Light and dark. Focused and blurry. Sharp and smooth. And a great sense of depth. Persevere! :)

A lovely tribute to a worthy artist! And this traditional spiral (I LOVE traditional spirals!) is beautiful! Love the sheen!

I love it when a thumbnail image makes you say, "Ooooo" (pronounced "who" without the wh... ;) as this one did. What a beautifully ornate and delicate spiral! It looks as though it's been engraved by a fine jeweller. I'm honored and humbled by your words, Daniel. Thank you so very much for this lovely treasure! :)

A beautiful tribute to Helen, one of the nicest people I know and such a great fractal artist. I love your rich and gorgeous color, fine detailing and cramy texture.

Hmmm, I see I missed your first 'got back' image. I don't know why, but sorry 'bout' that. Just love the lighting 'n' details of this gorgeous spiral! Fantastic piece! V (:
