Description

Due to so many b'days lately I wasn't able to post this images earlier. This is my tribute to all the victims and their families of this terrible act of fanatism. Still cannot believe what has happened on 7th of July! How can human beings act like this!?! What a tragedy! My thoughts and prayers go out to the people in London and all the UK. Thanks God all our Rendo friends from UK are well! Reach out and touch somebody's hand And the world will be a better place - Not for us, but for those who are yet to come. I want to quote Pete's words, he said it so well: Through the unity of the human spirit will we traverse the chasm of ignorance. For the shot... part of a sculpture taken at ISO level: 100, Exposure time: 1/250 sec at f-5.0 For the postwork... used "Virtual Painter " for the oilpainting effect, darkened and added a bit of contrast No crop just resized and framed. Mon, this really is a wonderful piece and I feel humbled that you quoted my words. But I need to quote something that Nuitek said when commenting on my upload of "Hope"...she made a reference to the fact that we always hope for a better future and that the present is never good enough. When you think about it she is right...we hope for a better tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes and therefore we have to act now, today...seize the moment. The one thing that we mus always remember is that there are more good people than bad people, the masses WILL win in the end. As for this piece...it's truly fine. Blessings to you from a Dark Angel!

To me it gives the look of a pwerful hand that presses down on everythin it touches, and kills it. A very moody evocative image, Moni, many diffrent ideas & thoughts this will have to many people. . Sad world ! V Lina

very touching tribute. in a local hospital they bronze casts of famous people hands. there are so many stupid and cold blooded acts of violence that it almost makes me not want to read the paper or look at the news
