FA Future Traffic 2 is a set of four low/medium polygon delivery vehicles for all your sci-fi scenes. Poser 8 or later, DAZ Studio 3a or later.
These vehicles have a small memory footprint, so you can easily load fifty of them to fill a street or highway scene. In order to allow you to load a lot of vehicles and still make a convincing scene there are many MAT poses to change the bodywork colours, to add variation and make it less obvious that there are only four different models. (See promo image). There are also more than seventy license plate options with MAT poses including plates from many US states, Tokyo and Yokohama plates, UK style plates and Colonial Administration or alien plates for those renders set on other worlds. All of the bodywork colour MAT poses will work on any of the vehicles provided, and will also be interchangeable with other Future Traffic sets. Further sets in the Future Traffic series will provide still more license plate options and these will also be interchangeable. There are MAT files included to apply your own license plate textures, see ReadMe for instructions for use. Note that the Future Traffic 1 set contains over 70 license plate options too, so if you buy both sets you will have eight vehicles and over 140 license plate options. Should be enough..
The vehicles share tyre textures as a memory-saving feature, and can use no texture maps on most of their material zones to further save memory. The steering works via and ERC dial that moves the wheels and turns the steering wheels, and the vehicles are all animator friendly with a "Roll Fwd/Back" dial (see ReadMe for details). All four can switch from left-hand drive to right-hand drive for renders set in the UK, Japan or other countries where vehicles are driven on the left side of the road. These cars are not designed for close-ups, but for the middle foreground to background use (though you can get fairly close in some scenes). They have no morphs or opening doors and almost no interior detail.
The product was tested in DAZ Studio and DAZ Studio support is provided (sorry, I can't do iRay support yet), please see ReadMe for details.
