As with all my models, this asset was for my own canvas composition of the Carson Mansion in California. The Carson Mansion is considered one of the best example of a Victorian house in America. Commissioned by the lumber baron, William Carson of San Francisco, it was created by the architects Samuel and Joseph Newsom and is one of the most photographed and written about structures in California. Since 1950 it has been a private club, the Ingomar Club and is not open to the public. Suitable for Victorian scenes as well as haunted house and horror projects, lighting and atmosphere can make this pretty much anything you want.

This is a high polygon model at over 1M. While the roof tiles and stone work are UV'd textures, the remaining model is all modeled to provide the user with the most detail possible within reason.

To install: Unzip the contents of this file directly to your DAZ Studio Library folder (usually called My DAZ3D Library).

Please note that the Iray surfaces can change considerably in different lighting situations and scenes. Some adjustments may be required in the Surface Editor to achieve the look you want.

Regarding the Stained Glass window in Iray - you can get some good effects if you add back lighting from within the building or placing the "sun" so it shines in the windows on the opposite sides.

Tip: If this product does not appear automatically in Smart Content you may have to re-import the metadata using Content DB maintenance on your system.
