Industrial Stuff can be something easily recognized or it can be an interesting item to spark the curiosity of the eye when a scene is constructed that includes elements like these!This first installment of AtoZ DetailTime Industrial Stuff includes extremely interesting items... If I say DPDT, most people might think I'm talking about DDT not so! That stands for Double Pole Double Throw and whether it's a toggle switch or in this case a Knife Switch, they do the same thing. When I was a kid, my brother was really into electricity and he is the one who taught me about this type of switch. Wired correctly it could be used to reverse the polarity of DC Current!
Now how could a kid use that knowledge? We bought little electric motors and unlike today when you might control it with a Rasberry, relay and programming, we didn't have stuff like that yet. So to make the motor turn Clockwise or Counter Clockwise the DPDT was the thing to use!
Sooo... For your renders the included switches (SPST SPDT DPST DPDT) give your "inventions" that need to be controlled a new dimension. And as the Promotional Pics show the switches could be locked away in a Hinged Metal Box! This model includes two Metal Boxes and you can lock one them with its attached Hasp and Clasp. Of course, AtoZ also included a separate Hasp and Clasp and a Lock and a Key so you can secure other stuff. Sky's the limit as to how you use these AtoZ DetailTime items.
