NELMI-Satin Iray Shaders - Merchant Resource.
Satin is commonly used in apparel: women's lingerie, nightgowns, blouses, and evening gowns, but also in boxer shorts, shirts and neckties. It is also used in the production of pointe shoes for use in ballet. Other uses include interior furnishing fabrics, upholstery, and bed sheets.
There are more than 400 Iray shader options in total. What is included?
- 40 Plain Iray Shaders;
- 15 Mixed Colours that can be used as overlays;
- 10 Bump maps with beautiful patterns. Use them in conjunction with the above;
- 3 Bump map intensity settings;
- 3 Gloss intensity settings;
- Tiling Utility settings.
High quality PBR textures have been used to create these shaders.
How to use the shaders?
Select the surface and apply the presets from the folders. The Mixed Color Satin will not change the base colour. Always select the plain satin colour first before applying the mixed color. For a more dramatic effect, use the Metallic Flakes Color Map and in the place of the Base Color Map (currently no map) and change the color to grey (RGB value 192 192 192).
Please keep in mind that Satin can be tricky to render in Iray. It does not need too much light.
