This set includes 15 species of Cockatoos, plus dimorphic pairs.
Cockatoos are distinguished from other parrots by five main morphological features – a crest, lack of green feathers in the plumage, yellow natal down, a gall bladder, and bridge temporal fossa (a bony bridge across the shallow depression on the side of the skull). All species are endemic to Australia and Australasia.
Cockatoos are kept as pets because they can be very affectionate, bond closely with people and are valued for their beauty. Although capable of imitating basic human speech, they are not considered the most able speakers among parrots. They have a highly social nature and high level of intelligence. They are considered the loudest of the parrot family
This set includes all remaining cockatoos not already in Songbird ReMix format. There is a good mix of white and black cockatoos, as well as corellas.
There are two versions of this set for native support in Poser and DAZ Studio. Materials have been tuned to support Iray, 3Delight, Superfly and Firefly renderers.
