A croft is a small rented farm in Britain, especially Scotland, comprising a plot of arable land attached to a house or cottage. The house is usually a long single story building comprised of stone with fireplaces on both ends and an attached barn for animals. The interior is furnished with many traditional items such as an enclosed bed, wooden cradle, spinning wheel, washstand and china cabinet. The barn has a fenced area with feed trough, hay bale and bench. There is a long list of included items so be sure to check out the ReadMe. Some croft houses dated back into the 1700s but they are still seen in modern day as homes or as holiday cottages for visitors.
