Oil Platform.
This typical oil platform can be found operating all around the world in relatively shallow waters and warm climates.
The Platform model is scaled down to fit Poser Figures and can be used as an offshore environment work scene.
The Platform model is created in four stages, together with the Helipad covering them all.
Each can be hidden when not required in the scene.
The living Quarters is populated with benches, sofa’s kitchen, toilet, shower and bunk rooms with a large area for recreation.
At the other end of the Living Quarters there is a office, a control room, both populated with various lighted panels and switch cabinets. The ceiling of the Living Quarters can be hidden to better pose characters imported into the scene.
There are two work cabins set onto the stage below with a removable roof for internal poses and scenes.
Extra switch cabinets can be copied from the living quarters and moved into the work cabins if required.
All doors are animated to open and close.
The living quarters, control room and work cabins are illuminated using Superfly, Cycles, Colour, Light falls off materials.
The ground prop has an extra morph dial included which recreates simple waves.
There is a prop library which includes common equipment that can be imported into the scene if required.
All library props are imported into the scene on the centre of the illuminated ‘H’ on the helipad where they can be seen clearly.
