These leaf scatter props were developed to fill a need when creating fall or autumn scenes with trees enrobed in colorful leaves. However, it feels like the scene is lacking ‘something’ without the fallen leaves around objects, asphalt pavement or a country road where leaves would gather curbside. The leaf scatter props are envisioned to be used when the emphasis is not on the scattered leaves but on the main actors or objects. Although their individual texture maps are 1.5K and over, the leaves render best when viewed from a medium distance. Over 250 distinct leaf shapes were organized into eleven clumps that could plausibly form curbside, in a corner or around lamp posts or bases of statues adding to that magical atmosphere of a crisp autumn morning.
I hope these new prop models will add a splash of fun to your scenes.
Happy rendering!
