During the 1920s French engineer Marcel Leyat invented and built a number of propeller–driven automobiles. Leyat was an aircraft designer who thought applying similar principles to cars would make them better: light weight construction, streamlined shape, and a simple propeller drive. In 1927 a Hélica reached a speed of 106 mph.

The Leyat Helica 3D model is a fully-rigged Poser figure, sized for Poser people. Although designed for Poser, it is compatible with DAZ Studio (see ReadMe).
