Blackhawk Helicopter for Poser & Vue
This model is based on the Blackhawk helicopter, currently used by the US armed forces.
As you would expect from my vehicles, this model comes with the usual moving parts (with proper limits set): opening doors, sliding doors, moving control sticks, and rotating blades. All non-logical dials are hidden- for example, you can't rotate the rear doors, so the rotate dials aren't shown. And new for this model- all parts are "locked" so you can't accidentally twist or move a part.
Most sections of the helicopter are separate parts: the interior, the landing gear, the wings, etc. This was done to provide the maximum amount of customization. You don't see the interior in the render? Hide it (using the Hierarchy Editor) and save a little rendering time. Don't want the rear landing gear in the render? Hide it. The doors were blown off during a battle? Hide them.
And don't forget about the additional accessories: fuel probe, fuel pods, and more! Add each one to your helicopter as needed.
This model also includes some brand-new features: Upper blade can flex- it can droop down when the helicopter has landed or flex up when in flight. Simply adjust the "BladeFlex" dial to change! The rear landing gear comes with 2 variations: a straight-down version and an angled version. Simply adjust the "RearWheelType" dial to change! Two upper wing versions are included. Again, simply adjust the dial to change the wings. No additional props are needed! "Blade blur" props to simulate spinning blades... without the need for Poser 5's motion blur effect. Three (3) "blade blur" transparency maps are also included to simulate different rotation speeds. Unlike other helicopter models, the "blade blur" feature is built into the model using "geometry swapping". This means that there are no external props to add (or remove) from the model- simply turn the dial to switch from normal to blurred blades. "Variable Seating"- simply adjust the dial to change the seating arrangement: "all seats", "pilot + rear seats", "pilot + mid seats", and "only pilot seats". (And there's no need for extra chair props!
