They weren't called the Dark Ages for nothing, torture was deemed a legitimate means to extract confessions or to obtain the names of accomplices or other information about a crime. Most were already sentenced to death before undergoing torture.
The Iron Maiden was a wooden and iron cabinate with hinged doors, large enough for a human being to fit inside. The interior was lined with spikes to force the occupant to remain standing and the head was exposed so the torturer could interrogate the victim.
The executioners axe, sword and block were usually reserved for treasonous aristocrats. In Medieval England it was considered a privilege of noblemen to be beheaded.
The Stocks were devices used for public humiliation and punishment. They would immobalize the victim by holding the neck and wrists in place while in a public place, free for the locals to insult, kick, spit, throw things at and worse.
All models are in OBJ and PP2 format with both the sword and axe parented to the right hands of M4. Texture and bump maps range from 1000x1000 pixels to 3000x3000 pixels.
