5 Houses that represent the typical Housing Project as found in the United States and Canada
Based upon Wikipedia...
A block or group of houses built and operated by government agencies or local authorities, the main purpose is to provide affordable housing to lower income families.
Historically most American Housing Projects were high rise developments, which have been torn down and replaced with easier to manage town-style houses (as represented here).
Town style houses, which usally have large open green areas, are more environmentally friendly and have a "mixed tenure".
This mixing of social and owner occupiers leads to lower crime rates than traditional high-rise Housing Blocks and makes the area a generally more pleasant place to live.
