Build a room of your dreams! Give Vicky and Mike their virtual home! Put some realistic indoor background in your favorite renders with “VirtuaRoom Pack 1”!
Morphing walls, opening windows, doors, cabinets, moving window blinds…even the oven door opens! But let’s start from the beginning:
First, load the character (figure) MAIN FLOOR. Then load your props (walls, ceiling, furniture etc.). You don’t have to parent the props to the figure. After you are done posing them, you can go to the “VIRTUAROOM” Pose folders and choose some of the texture presets. You will notice a little yellow “FP” mark (Figure-based Preset) in many of your prop- thumbnails. This means that as long as you have the MAIN FLOOR figure in your scene, you can instantly alter textures for these props from the “VIRTUAROOM” Pose folders just by clicking on the presets included. You don’t have to select the prop, just click on the preset. Everything is fully customizable in this package. Change all walls in your scene from white to colorful wallpaper with one click! Change the background “HORIZON” prop (with sky, houses and trees) from day to night. Or change your furniture props from fabric to black leather! The folders are neatly organized around four main scenes: BATHROOM, ENTRY, KITCHEN and LIVING ROOM. There are even color/bump presets provided in the Material Room “VIRTUAROOM” folder! Just click on any wall with your “dropper icon” and apply one of the six presets. Or apply them for your wall trims only! The Pose folders have the floor and the wall texture defaults so you can change everything back the way it was.
The “VIRTUAROOM” walls have many morphs. You can expand them upward, downward, to the left, to the right, reposition or scale the windows etc. You can apply several morphs at the same time! The “HALF WALL” prop is the most versatile one. You can turn this wall into a pillar, bend it at an angle, spread the base wider and so much more! The doors are parented to the walls so you can open/close them or delete them! The window blinds are parented to the walls. They work just like the real blinds. There is even a “Ruined” morph included to make the blinds look crooked or broken! The morphing porch is included. The morphing wooden fence also, and you can randomize the planks through a morph. With presets you can make this fence look old or new! The ceilings have smoke alarms and (bulb or tube) light fixture props parented. The “ENTRY” scene ceiling prop even has the swamp-cooler vent cover parented! All of the drapes (curtains) are separate props and you can pull them just like the real ones. They have different preset textures that you can quickly apply. The patio door opens, and a large wooden patio deck is included too! Some walls have the exterior (siding, facade) textures for your convenience although this pack is intended for the interior scenes.
There are two entertainment centers in this pack and one of them fits a room corner. Each one has a flat screen TV, a lot of DVDs, a TV Tuner, a VCR, a CD/DVD Player, an extension cord, and visible cables hooked up in the back. Two coffee tables are provided; a glass one and a wooden one. Both have two remotes and some magazines (parented) on them. The wooden table comes with a beautiful embroidery and a vase full of flowers. A large potted room plant is also included. Floor vents, AC and telephone outlets or light switches can be loaded, repositioned and colored independently.
The kitchen dining set comes with six chairs. The table cloth has six independent “leg morphs” for each one of the six people to be seated around the table. All of the upper kitchen cabinets have open/close preset door morphs already set for 45 or 90 degrees. The cabinets can be rearranged. As with all morphs in this package, the optimal settings were already calculated. Just type in “1” and hit “Enter” and each morph will be loaded to its optimal setting.
In the living room folder there is a morphing shelf with two framed photographs, a scented candle and a beautifully decorated box parented to it! There are two clocks provided and three wall paintings. You can alter between the golden or black frames presets.
In the “VIRTUAROOM” Prop folder named “BUILDING MATERIAL” there are extra walls, windows and doors. Some walls have one or two “single hung” windows (they slide up/down) and some walls have one or two “single vent” windows (they slide left/right). Each window can be opened/closed independently. The windows are also resizable. There are two walls with doors. One wall has a door that opens to the left and another wall has a door that opens to the right. Keep in mind that only the door jambs are connected to the walls. The doors are separate, parented props. The jambs and doors are also provided as standalone props, without walls. This is especially useful when rendering hallway scenes with lots of doors, so you can load as many as you want!
The bathtub has a moving shower curtain. The toilet seat and cover move independently up or down! You can change the colors of the bathroom floor pads, towels or reposition the included props like the hair spray cans, the tile cleaners, the toilet brush, the plunger, even the soap or a plastic cup with teeth brushes and a toothpaste on the sink!
For Poser 7 users, the Lights and Main Camera presets from the promotional images 1-5 are included in their respective “VIRTUAROOM” Camera or Light folders. These thumbnails also show the Document Window sizes for the BATHROOM, ENTRY, KITCHEN, ROOM 1 and ROOM 2 scenes in the promotional images. These presets can be applied to the old versions of Poser but the IBL lights and ambient occlusions will not be supported. Please notice the red “P7” mark in the thumbnails. The “VIRTUAROOM Pack 2” is in development and it will have stairways, bedroom and some other rooms and will be the extension of this pack with even more furniture, props, texture presets etc. Based on your feedback ThundeRRenderS will try to tailor this pack to your needs and desires. Please express your expectations for the upcoming “VIRTUAROOM Pack2”.
