This collection of shaders is designed to work with existing character sets you already own to convert them into spirits, spectres, haunts, ghouls, and all manner of creepy and horrific entities. These effects work with most character sets available on the market, whether they use the legacy material options or the new SSS materials. Promo images show effects on both SSS materials and on character sets created in earlier versions of Poser without SSS. Because all creators structure their character materials differently, not all characters you own may work with these shaders, so please be aware of this before purchase. Most should work -- but do be prepared for the occasional exception!

A full PDF tutorial is included to describe the shaders, what they do, and optimal render settings for some of the effects. Definitely read through before experimenting, as the tutorial contains a lot of helpful information. Don't let that fool you, though -- these are pretty easy and amazingly flexible features! For most, one click will deliver the effect shown. Others allow you to choose a color for your effect with the color picker, offering further unique customization to tailor your image to your exact needs. The effects can be used in combination, as shown in the promo images, so the possibilities for new and spooky effects are limitless.

SHADERS:
• 2 Utility shaders to adjust the transparency falloff (ON|OFF)
• 15 Pallor Series Shaders: these shaders adjust skin color to a number of different desaturated, ghostly tints
• 10 Stain Series Shaders: these shaders adjust skin colors with a 'stain' of color in a number of unsettlingly inhuman shades
• 16 Tarnish Series Shaders: similar to the stain shaders, these effects will create a patterns of unnatural color on parts of the body in a tint color you will be prompted to choose
• 17 Ghostly Series Shaders: these use translucence in a color you will be prompted to choose to create unnatural patterns on the skin
• 16 Glow Series Shaders: these use the ambient settings to create a glowing effect, and can be used in combination with the light emitter effects in Poser9+
• 16 Balefire Series Shaders: these use the ambient settings to create a glow through the skin, and can be used in combination with the light emitter effects in Poser9+
• 8 Transparency Series Shaders: these hide parts of the body in various patterns to create the illusion of floating or ethereal haunts and ghosts
• 8 Luminous Series Shaders: these shaders combine transparency and specular effects to create body parts transparent, but defined by an unearthly shimmer
• 8 Aura Series Shaders: these shaders combine transparency and specular effects to create body parts transparent, but defined by an unearthly shimmer
