Our Renderosity Vendor of the Month for May 2022 is DZheng. He has been a Renderosity member since 2010 and has over 300 followers. DZheng specializes in clothing, poses, and add-ons for male figures (primarily the Genesis 8 Male, but also some for L'Homme). There are over 300 items in DZheng's store and they are all detailed and quite striking.

You have such a talent for male fashion and clothing: how did you get started and what interests you in creating clothing for men?
DZheng: I was unable to find what I want in the market and wanted to see if I will be able to create one on my own. That kick-started my entire learning and creating process in 3D menswear creation. When I start posting the pieces for sale, I started to get requests for sexier pieces for men which is really hard to find in most online market places and I have not stopped then.
Your creations have such a sense of style to them: What sort of things (movies, books) give you inspiration and ideas for fashions?
DZheng: I get my ideas everywhere, from movies, and magazines to fashion catalogs, etc. Most of the time I tried to recreate what I find interesting and unique. At times I just try to combine elements that I like from different reference images I found.
One of my favorites (of many) in your store is: DZ G8M HeroZ 5 - MidNightZ . It has such a cool look like a superhero. How did you come to create this interesting piece?
DZheng: I was actually a project I put on hiatus quite some time ago when I am experimenting with some modeling features in ZBrush. I started to work on the project again because I wanted to see how much will the look changed with the different textures.
Do you have any advice for those who want to start creating men’s fashions and clothing?
DZheng: Do not restrict your creation by the rules for traditional menswear, just go ahead and create what's on your mind and let your imagination run wild. Men's clothes can also be sexy.
What does being a member of the Renderosity community mean to you?
DZheng: As a member of the Renderosity, I get to try out my 3d skills and showcase sexy non-traditional menswear projects
