Renderosity: Where do you find inspiration and/or ideas for your creations?
Hameleon: Basically, now I create poses for female characters. I have inspiration all the time. Mostly it comes from the head. But of course, films and photos help me a lot in this. Inspiration is everywhere - wherever there are beautiful women. As for the creation of clothes - here, first of all, browsing fashion websites and websites selling clothes helps. But, all this as a basis - you still have to invent something yourself.
What is your primary workflow on a project? When do you know a piece is finished or do you tinker a lot?
Hameleon: Working with promotional images This is the most important and the hardest thing for me. At this stage, I can get stuck for a very long time. As a perfectionist, I have to do many renders in order to choose the right one with good light and composition. And this happens for every promo picture.
What are some of your favorite creations for your store?
Hameleon: Really, I don’t have favorite creations. Because I am constantly dissatisfied with the result. Because I know that I can always do better. Or at least I want to do better. You should always strive for excellence. It’s an endless race. But of course, I have good products:
Also, I’m working on Easy Light System. This system will be universal for everyone. But I’m stuck here because this system are not so Easy to use and hard to understand for buyers at this time. I will fix this soon. I hope. :)
In general, ideas can arise unexpectedly, on the fly.
Those. today you do not know what to do, and tomorrow you simply do not have enough hands to work with all fresh ideas.
Any advice for the beginning vendor at Renderosity?
Hameleon: All technical documentation about any software you can find on the internet. All working processes are already presented on Youtube in the best ways.
But the most important thing is: Study a lot, work hard, and don’t forget to rest at least once in a while.
Have a good Art!
