Interview with December Vendor of the Month - Santuziy78

Dec 20, 2022 at 05:30 am by gToon

Santuziy78 is a top-selling exclusive vendor at Renderosity. He joined the site in 2010 and has over 500 followers. Santuziy78 started making scenes in Poser early in his career and when he couldn't find a prop he needed for a scene, he made it himself. That started him on the road to being a content creator specializing in poses and props. All of which are very well crafted and quite striking in their design.

Santuziy78 took the time to talk with us about his background as a digital artist and content creator. He also shares some advice for vendors who are just starting out.  Thanks, Santuziy78, and congratulations on being chosen Vendor of the Month for December 2022. You've earned it many times over.

And don't forget that Santuziy78 is having a big sale on everything in his store. The sale starts Tuesday, Dec 20th, and runs through Dec 25th. You can find out more at this link

How did you get started as a digital artist and vendor? What got you interested?

Once upon a time, I accidentally saw an article about a Poser on the Internet. This program has awakened my interest in 3D creativity. At first, I just made images using characters and props that were included in the Poser’s library. But one day I needed a prop that was not in this library and I decided to try to model the props myself.

That’s how I started making models for the Poser, and then for the Daz studio.

You have such a talent for creating character poses; what is your secret?

There is no secret. :)

I’ve probably done several thousand poses for a long time. The first poses I did looked bad. It’s all about experience.

STZ Small Room 5

One of my favorite items in your store (among many) is the STZ Small Room 5. Your design and lighting are superb in this scene: how did you go about creating it? What kind of tools did you use to create this awesome scene?

Thank you for such a high assessment of my work! With each new product, it becomes more and more difficult to surprise customers :)

I decided to make an interior that will include two different scenes. The tools I used were a Blender for 3D modeling and photoshop for making textures.

What sort of ideas do you have for future products?

I have a folder on my computer where I save various ideas for future projects. This folder contains a huge amount of references and information, but I don’t know if I can implement them all.

In the new year, there will definitely be new interiors and sets of poses with smart props :)

Any advice for Renderosity Vendors just starting out?

The only advice I have is to do what you like and do it with high quality :) I would like to wish all vendors starting their activities patience and good luck! And I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
