November/December Issue

Good lords and ladies of the court of Renderosity, we bid thee to attend this tournament. Our good champion will be he or she who best displays our theme of chivalry: those traits of courtesy, honor, courage, gallantry that we hold in high esteem! The theme may be expressed in past, present or future tense....chivalry need not be restricted to a certain time or place; it is a noble ideal for all ages.

The top four cover contest winners must supply The Renderosity Interactive Magazine with their real name and postal mailing address. Additional information may be required for registration of the software by the sponsoring companies. All personal information is kept confidential.

All entrants agree, by entering this contest, to allow Renderosity to use their entries for promoting The Renderosity Interactive Magazine: online, digital, in print, on CD, or in any other medium used to promote the magazine. Also, by submitting your entry into this contest you are granting Renderosity the right to retain your entry in its archive and to display the the entry within this community to promote Renderosity or future contests held as a part, or extension of this community. Renderosity does not seek ownership of any of the entries. Full copyrights still belong to the individuals submitting their entries into this contest.

Contest begins Friday, October 1, 2004, ends Sunday, October 24, 2004 at Noon Renderosity Server Time. (Entries MUST be timestamped by this date/time).
Winners will be announced November 1, 2004 in the Magazine Interact Forum and on The Renderosity Interactive Magazine
Special Note :Image entry size must be exactly [72dpi-RGB-jpg], 640 (width) x 749 (height) pixels. Also include a 100 x 100 pixel thumbnail.
Please remember that the image submitted for the online contest system must be in jpg format.
Please keep in mind that the magazine format is digital, so there is no need to create a second "Print Ready Image," as was done for prior cover contests.
Copyright figures, even parody of copyright figures, are not allowed in this contest [if in doubt, please contact the magazine team.]
All members and moderators can enter: with the exception of those members listed as current Magazine Staff, and Admins.
Entries must be new artwork, not previously posted online, in your gallery, or anywhere else publicly.
Entries must not appear online anywhere else during the contest or until the contest winners have been posted.
By entering into the contest, the top four winners are agreeing to not publish their cover images (except on their Renderosity Gallery) until 90 days after the publication of Volume 3 issue 4.
No nudity (image must be suitable for ALL audiences).
Only one image per person allowed (this includes member clones - that is, even if you have multiple accounts, only one entry per PERSON).
Post work is allowed.
Any software can be used - this includes 2D and 3D art and photographs
By uploading your image you are agreeing that this is your original work. Also, by uploading your entry you are certifying that all models used in the image are free from print and publication restrictions (contest winners will be required to sign a statement verifying this).
The artist will remain the intellectual property holder of their entry images.
Do not use any text on your image.
Do not add the Renderosity logo to your contest image.
The four winning entries, runner-ups, and honorable mention selections will be selected by The RIM Staff. The decision of the judges is final.
