The Book Software: PoserPro 2014/Gimp2.8 I got the idea almost immediately when I saw the announcement for the contest and put the basic image together. Then spent several days more fooling with it mostly because I wanted to render in Lux using Reality 3. Unfortunately my computer is so slow I ran out of time. Therefore the final render was using Poser's Firefly engine. The inspiration for this was the movie Necronomicon: Book of the Dead(1993). I have also been playing a lot of Elder Scrolls lately so the eyes and tentacles were brought to mind by the Daedric Price Hermaeus Mora. Sometimes when you open an old book you get more than you bargained for.
