“Santa we’ve been good…â€

Our kitties, Tiger and Izzy usually didn’t get along so well, but they did agree that under the Christmas tree was the best place to be.

I took a picture of them sleeping under our Christmas tree a while ago and was inspired to make their little nap more magical by adding a prettier image of our current tree and adding the stocking with treats. Tiger has since passed on, but Izzy still sleeps there, waiting for Santa. I wanted to create a picture that was warm, cozy and comforting, to honor Tiger’s memory.

I used a Kodak EasyShare for the photo of the kitties, and a Canon Rebel 2Ti for new ones of the tree and the stocking. I used Photoshop to composite them together. It took about 6 hours including the new shoot.
