I added some background blur to this image using AfterFocus, then tinted and added the bokeh effect in Pixlr. The text was added and the frame drawn in Adobe Photoshop Elements.

The editing only took about 15 minutes, but it took around an hour to try out the different props that I wanted to use and the lighting. 

I was inspired by the films and tv programmes where you see someone looking into a mysterious box of some kind, which lights up their face. Although you never actually see what is inside. I did not have anyone to model so I thought of using the teddy to look into the end of the Christmas stocking as that in itself is magical.
