Kissing under the mistletoe is one of the greatest things about Christmas.

The photo shoot concept was simple: holidays, each other and kisses. The couple (friends of mine) are young and very much in love but live four hours apart. This shoot was great because it brought them together and captured the excitement and intimacy of seeing each other after being apart. For me, that kind of joy and happiness is priceless and what Christmas is all about, being with your loved ones.

It took me about six hours from concept to finish to create this image.

This image was created with a Canon 5D Mark III using a Canon 100mm lens. It took me about six hours from concept to post-production to make that image. Post production was in Photoshop CC where image edits included desaturation with selective reds enhanced.
