I've been working on some projects for a friend of mine concerning Nazi vampires, and when the competition came along the idea of of old world monsters seemed to fit, both real ones and mythological. I then had to think of something new for them to wage war against and I've always admired the work of Guillem H. Pongiluppi, especially his series of 'Space Cockroach' images that have Darth Vader and his elite troops battling Xenomorphs from alien. That was the idea sorted, now just had to put it together. The story in my head is that Hitler has sent his elite treasure seeking vampire unit to South America in the hope of finding ancient supernatural or alien artefacts to use in the war...what they find is not exactly what they were expecting.

Took about two weeks all told. I already had the German uniforms from Tannenbaum, and I got the aliens from FoRender. The pyramid is made up of Jungle Ruin steps from Stonemason (but re-textured). I set all the characters up in Poser, then created the scene in Cinema4D. Quite a few hours in Photoshop for post work, utilising amongst others Deviney's brushes quite a bit.
