Entry #15

Image Title: How Many Aces?? (Final Version)

The post work was fairly simple, but really helped to make the image "pop". All of the post work was done in Gimp. First I adjusted levels (after scaling (down sampling) the image to make it the proper size to meet the contest requirements) to improve contrast in the image. I then copied the image and pasted the level adjusted image as a new layer. On this new layer I ran an unsharp mask (default values) to help improve the contrast a bit more, and I added vignette using gimic filters. I set this layer to ~30% opacity. I then copied this layer, pasted it as a new layer, applied a Gaussian Blur (default values) and set opacity to ~17% to give the image a slight soft focus effect. I then exported the results to a JPG.
