Entry #26

Footprints in the Snow Footprints in the snow, Always wonder to where they go, Always wonder to what or to whom, Where they go to and what secret may loom. Different shapes, dimension and size, Meandering, straight, herein the key lie, Whom or what has ventured by, Always wondering and asking why. Journeying forth into the woods, It was here someone, or something stood, Going forth, proceeding on their way, They passed by and then got on with their day. Animal, human, the question remains, In the footprint, the secret is contained, Friend or foe, Only the mystery one dares to sow. Footprints to follow, oh where do they go, Roaming, wandering through the snow, Often wondering about this very thing, In a curious mind these questions will sing. To discover the answers just follow the path, Discover the trail reveal the wrath, All of the footprints marking the snow, Only those who seek out to find will ever know. Author Linda D. Ebarb
