Renderosity Member PhilC has Passed Away

Comments

He will be missed! One of my very first friends here at Renderosity. Such a sad day! :(
Always such a nice man who was ever ready to educate and lend a hand to less experienced artists. I won't forget you Phil. R.I.P.
Although I didn't know him personally. I've been seeing his freebies and products for years ever since I first got into Poser and discovered online communities like this site. My sympathies to his family and friends.
He certainly will be missed Renapd. He was a talented member, who made many innovative tools that were integrated into Poser. He had a cheeky quirky sense of humour and was happy to help many people on their Poser journey with the skills he had. Very glad to have known him. If only in the occasional conversations had over the years. Condolences to his family and friends. R.I.P PhilC.
Oh so sad to hear this! He influenced the Poser world for more than 20 years, be it with models, or with great tools (which he often gave away for free on top!) or with helpful tutorials or personal advice whenever you contacted him... We started using Poser and supporting software about the same time, and as far as I can think back, his label PhilC was already known by me very early and was always a hint to better read his post because there was always something to learn from him... I always enjoyed getting in contact with him over whatever subject, because he was a really friendly person and ready to support and help people any time. Phil, you made an impact to the world, not only the Poser world, which most ordinary humans can never manage to achieve. I hope you went in peace and can probably watch all of us from somewhere. You certainly left a gap here on Earth, not only in your family at home, but also worldwide.
Thoughts and prayers to his Family ! A sad loss to all of us here at Rendo
So very sad to hear of this. I followed Phil from his very first begging's here at Renderosity
Didn't Know Phil personally, but used a fair few of his products & freebies. If you needed help with anything, he was always just a message away. He will indeed be missed.
I can't express how sad I am to hear this. He was a true gift to the Poser community and to the Poser product itself. And a super nice man to boot. God speed, PhilC, you are a treasure.
So sad. Phil helped me get on my feet when I first started using Poser. Always helpful and generous. Phil you will be missed.
Such sad news. I have learned a lot with his tutorials, including his Poser School and the like. He will be missed, but not forgotten.
It is almost impossible to imagine a Poser universe without Phil! His freebies were among the very first models I got to play with, back "in those" days!...
Incredibly sad news. PhilC was one of those people who was a true pillar in the community. His contributions were many, both to the community and the Poser application itself. We've lost a gem. God speed, PhilC, you will be missed.
Really sad to hear this. A lot of my earlier DAZ/Poser days wouldn't have turned out as well as they did if it wasn't for his great software, tutorials and help. Still remember being a part of his own little Poser community before he retired. Always friendly and helpful to everyone. We've lost a huge part of Poser history today.
Sad news. R.I.P PhilC
A wonderful guy, creative, witty, kind and generous. RIP Phil, you will be missed by many.
Very sad to read this. My condolences to his family and friends. My very first Poser render had a PhilC freebie in it. R.I.P. Phil
Phil's contributions were truly instrumental to the growth (and morale) of the Poser Community. Like so many of the early contributors, Phil was generous to a fault, always encouraging and helping others in every way possible. May his soul rest in peace and may we who remain find ways to honor his memory. I am so grateful that Renderosity honors the passing of members with these beautiful memorials.
My condolences to his friends and family. He was such a great helpful guy.
The world has just gotten more colder and bleak. PhilC will be sorely missed. Condolences to the family and friends? Sleep in peace. You've earned your rest, Phil.
