I know someone else was working on a Patrick also, I hope yours is comming along. This one looks great from the front but I need to work on the profile. Also Instead of painting on the hair (P4NudeMale doesn't wrap well for this), I need to modifiy the receeding male hair and do a trans map for it. Even though he really only has more fuzz than hair ;-) Just thought I'd share. James "Make it so, number one"

Yikes! This is fantastic work jschoen. Very close as far as i can tell from my memory. I'll download some P.S. images later and have a closer look. The famous SixPackWolf/Da Ferret/Stink E Ferret made a very nice P.S. too, but yours looks far less dorky. Specially i like his eyes. Download? Pleeeeeeeeeease! :oB (I can't wait to line him up with miss Troi.) /Ohman Riker: "I AM NOT A NUMBER! I'M A FREE MAN!!"

Wow! Unquestionably a contender for best celeb likeness to date! ... and was that Riker? Woulda thought it was Number 6.

LoboUK ( ) posted Wed, 19 April 2000 at 4:27 AM

WOW! That is superb James. Absolutely superb. It's very very close. Are you going to make it available to download? Paul

Oh, yes, he it is an incredible likeness. Yes, I hope he's soon for download! Great work indeed!

Brilliant work! James, please feel free to post this image over at the SciFi-Art forums as well, where development of Trek Poser characters is a very active subject. I suspect it will elicit some 'oohs' and 'aahs' there too! :-) You give us all hope: I would say this is the most 'non-Poser dork' use of the Poser male I've ever seen. It is possible after all! Time to move some morph wheels and manouvre some magnets. Thanks for the inspiration. :-)

allright! It's Professor X... can you submit it to the 3D Comic Collective if you make it public? Incredible job! You should try your hand at the current contest over at the 3D Comic Collective too... it's a challenge to make a superhero character from the sponsors real images. SturkWurk

I came, I rendered, I'm still broke.
