I just thought I would come in there and say that some guy named Dnick was overly harsh in his rating of one of my pieces. It's my feeling he is lashing out over a comment I made on one of his works. Something like that is totally uncool. I could say some pretty bad stuff about his body of work. But I wont stoop down to that level.

I doubt he hates you.....I think it's an excellent render.....but it does look like the wizard has the default pose.

I don't think the comments deserve the title "Evil person", nor do I think they are particularly venomous or vicious. I mean "nc" (no comment?) and the other two on "posing" and the "eye" do not really amount to an "evil" attack and his ratings, two fives and a two - well compared to some of the things that have happened in the galleries - this is in my opinion mild. However, it may well be that Dnick is annoyed at you for some reason and targeting you through his comments on your work and this can be annoying. You should take this up with the Admin or post it in the complaint forum. Posting here may well inflame the situation. Just my opinion. BTW Very fine work. STORM

I would say to you, forget ratings which are under the middle of each all, think the rest of the viewers could see whats wrong with this rating. In the whole life one rule works allways: SAY FIRST WHATS GOOD AND THE BAD AFTER. In this way negatives hears like constructive critism. Feel the diffrence. SHARKEY

I don't normally step into this sort of debate, but I must agree with STORM - I think you're taking this way too harshly. Two 5's and a 2, and a "nc" is very mild compared to some of the really nasty attacks we've had here. And his other comments aren't particularly aggressive, vituperative or unpleasant. I think you may be taking his comments and ratings out of context here. What everyone should consider is that, sometimes somebody will not like one of your images. It may not be to their taste and, consequently, they will mark it with a low rating. Paul

Not to create a contraversy here, but the wizard's robe is from baumgarten, I recognized it from a piece I was working on last summer. "The Wizard's Assistant", the end piece didn't have the wizard in it, but I was working with him for quite a while. The robe is a static prop and couldn't be "posed". That explains the default pose, the image is very good. I like it, but I feel Ed should have have been credited for the robe. Boni
