Also the path in the CR2 is case sensitive, and I think it requires the exact number of spaces betweeen the words to be right. However, if this was the problem you normally get the message "file not found"- I think your problem might be that Poser is objecting to the OBJ file, Poser is very, very fussy. You might try renaming the standard obj file to your new name and location and see if that one works, as a test.
It's used in making, and extracting, morph targets. Go to Traveler's Morph World site (see side bar under member referrals. It's an old link, but click on the message that pops up and you'll go to his new site) and then go to his tutorials section and you'll find some excellent tutorials on using the program. Basicaly, it will allow you to scale the obj file, then export it. Once it's in your 3D app, you can then move the mesh around freely while you're working on it (not possible without this utility).
Morph manager doesn't work on a Mac, so I can't be alot of help to you, but my impression of morph manager is that it's more of a tool to use AFTER you've made the morph target. Some characters can use a lot of morph targets and the more of them you import, the longer it takes for the figure to load in subsequently (it also gets quite confusing when you have 20 addtional parameter dials for the head, as an example). I'm told that Morph Manager will combine all of the morphs into one parameter dial for you. What else it does, I'm not sure. Why not download it and check out the readme file or whatever instructions are included with it(it's in free stuff - utilities). Compose, as I said, lets you control scaling (poser figures are quite small when imported into a 3D modeler) and also allows you to reposition the figure (or part) so that the morph will allign correctly with it's intended host part. Without Compose, you have to be extremely careful not to move, or rotate, the figure in any way while it's in the 3D modeling app. Doing so will cause really wierd, and unwanted, results when you try to apply the morph in Poser. With Poser 4, you can make morphs right inside Poser using the wave deformer and magnets. Traveler, and others, have published tutorials on using them and there's a section in the Poser manual on using them, too. They aren't as precise as using a 3D modeler, but I've seen some amazing things done with them (check out renapd's Millie morphs over at Fairy Woods -- just search on renapd in the top 15 links section). CR2Edit (not the same as CR2Editor) will automate the process of repointing obj's, among many other CR2-related tasks. The registered version also contains a full-featured text editor if you need it. Well, I have experienced some problems with Nude Woman.cr2. I made all the parts I needed, composed them with the COMPOSE utility, saved the mesh and when I tried to change the path in the Nude Woman.cr2 my computer hanged up. I tryed with WordPad, with MS Word, but nothing works. I just cannot rewrite the CR2 file. I tried with the edit program from DOS, but then the CR2 file is unuseble. I would be very thankful, if anyone could help me. Thanks!
