Vic 3 seems fabulous so far, although I really don't like a couple of things. I bought the morph packages...they just load up the Pose library...wish they were in their own category or folder. Secondly, the injection feature of morphs seems like a good idea up front, but actually using it is a real time waster IMO. Each section or morph has to be injected independently---it takes awhile for them to load...it makes it difficult ot work on the entire head...for instance, before you could just scroll down to whcihever part of the head you wished to tweak..now its inject a morph..wait for it to load...on my system at least, you have to close the paramete box each time or the new injected morph wont load.... The other option, of course, is to load all of the morphs...which I haven't tried with my system yet...

I loaded all the head morphs, and saved as a new figure, worked for me :)

Dave, I have the same beefs as well ... I don't like my poser library being loaded down with 26 new files. But if you want, you can, as pokeydots said, load all the head morphs (which may take a little time, depending on your system), and save the daz people with a new name, OR save this as your "preferred state" for Poser ... it will open again with V3 and all the morphs. But again, this doesn't solve the poser library being loaded down.

The injections are there so you don't have to load what you don't want ot never use. Just remove the files you don't want out of runtime if it bnothers you them being there.

I loaded up a figure with ALL Head and Body morphs... It took about 5 minutes to complete. And that's on a 2 GHz system with 1.5 GB of memory. Buck

Well, the point of the injection system was to make a more advanced figure accessable to people of all system capabilities, and to encourage 3rd party content. Most custom designed characters in my experience only use about 10% of the entire morph library available. You can, with Vic3, lower the memory use overhead by simply applying only those morphs you know you will be using. The morphs aren't going anywhere. =) You can always put more on a new character or take some off. Seems to me that loading a figure cr2 in excess of 100megs every time you wanted to use it, would become far more tiresome after a while.

I have problem using the injected morph, can anyone help me out? I have vic 3 base upgrade, head and body morph paks, universal texture map. The system just does not load the morph when I hit the injected morph thumb pic, even I closed the parameter dial box. Also, I tried to use mimic on vic 3, but only partially worked. No eye blink and mouth movement. Only head movement worked. Your help would be highly appreciated. Thx.

Oops, I forgot to mention the system I used. I used win2000 pro, 512 MB, P3 600 Mhz. Thx again.

leungpc, I found in P5 that I had to switch to a different room and then back to the pose room in order for the new dials to show up.
