I made the snow on the trees by making a dupl tree, made it white, then changed the attributes slightly. I may have just moved it up in the y direction not sure if I actually changed any sizes. I experimented a lot so I don't know what the final result came from. I cheated on the snowflakes, haven't figured out how to do them in Bryce yet so they are PSP.

Ang25, Thanks for proving that it can be done by the offset method. That was the thought that first came into my head, but I so far I haven't pulled it off as well as you have - I am almost certain a slight rescaling is involved. Thank you, - TJ
